Holiday Happiness with Bar Harbor Baked Stuffed "Apples" - A New Twist on an Old Favorite

From a happy customer: "I can't even begin to tell you how all 24 of us (yes 24!) enjoyed the stuffed apple recipe you have on your site. I wanted to do the Yankee Blizzard Scones, but didn't give myself enough time.

I only made 12 of the Baked Stuffed "Apples" because I wasn't sure if the kids and some adults wanted them. Boy, was I wrong. Not one person, out of all of us, thought the stuffed apples were just okay, I mean even the kids raved about them.

The pears have now taken over apples this winter. I do hope you have some more Christmas recipes coming, or at least winter recipes. I am dying to make something different for Christmas. Thanks so much.

And one other thing, that liquid at the bottom of your Indian Pudding? I hate to say it but it was so good. Weird that I mention that isn't it? But when you see some kind of liquid at the bottom of any can, it makes you wonder, but when my Mom and I tasted it, we knew we had a good product.

So anyway, we will keep checking daily for any more recipes for our Christmas gathering and we certainly don't mind using Indian Pudding again in something different.

Thanks again,

The Bowdens"
