Millions of Americans face the risk of a severe hunger crisis this winter. With higher energy costs and worsening economic conditions, some will be challenged to put a wholesome meal on their table.
Each year Hannaford donates more than 4,000 tons of food to local food banks. This year, we want to do more. We set a goal to raise more than $1 million through the holidays to support our communities and our local food banks.
For our 125th anniversary, we kicked off our Hannaford Fights Hunger campaign with a $125,000 donation to five regional food banks. Through the end of the year we're offering several easy ways for you to help fight hunger while in our stores.
Starting November 2, purchase a fund a feast box and you'll help provide a meal for a family in your community.
Each box costs just $10 and contains a selection of non-perishable foods. Just bring a box to the register and we’ll take it to your local food pantry.
